Doping Control at IBSA World Games 2011

We would like to kindly inform all participating athletes about the following:

Jurisdiction

IBSA is the sole authority for the duration of the Games, that is from the Opening of the Village on 1 April 2011 until the Closing Ceremony on 10 April 2011.

Doping control

There will be doping control at this event.

Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) Management

Athletes with documented medical conditions requiring the use of a substance contained in the 2011 Prohibited List should apply for a TUE from their respective National or Regional Anti-Doping Organisation (NADO/RADO). IBSA will mutually recognise TUE certificates issued by NADOs or RADOs for athletes competing at the IBSA World Games 201..

Please note that a retroactive TUE approval will only be considered by IBSA during the World Games in exceptional cases. Athletes requiring TUE approval during the IBSA World Games 2011 under exceptional circumstances need to complete this form Emergency TUE Application Form
